about me

My name is Alexander Egger, a former professional athlete and owner of a mechanical workshop in Bolzano, Italy. I played ice hockey at the highest level for over 20 years, including 18 years with HCB Südtirol, where I served as captain and represented my country in 10 IIHF World Championships.
During my playing career, I was also involved in the family business, which I have now taken over from my father. .

idea and story

During my active ice hockey career, I developed "Dryit" to improve the drying of hockey gloves. The development of this product began in 2014 and has been continuously improved ever since. "Dryit" provides a quick and effective solution for thoroughly drying gloves, skates, and other equipment after every game or practice

DRYit is internationally represented

The first machine was put into use in 2014 and has continuously evolved, proving successful internationally. Currently, 9 teams in the ICE Hockey League use my dryer, including renowned teams such as the Italian record champion HCB Südtirol, the Austrian record champion Klagenfurt AC, and the successful Red Bulls from Salzburg. "Dryit" is also present in the Swiss National League with HC Lugano and Ambri Piotta. Additionally, both the Italian and Slovenian national teams use the device to dry their gloves. In Hungary, Fehérvár AV19, and in Romania, HK Gyergyo are also very satisfied with the dryer.
